The Fine Print

PAYMENTS

Currently, we accept Email Transfers or Cash (if in person).  Purchases must be paid for in-full before Tegus are shipped or picked-up.

HOLDS, DEPOSITS, & PAYMENTS

Tegus can be put on hold with a NON-REFUNDABLE 50% deposit.  The balance MUST be paid in-full within 30 days after the initial deposit was received.  If the balance has not been received in-full by the end of the 30 days, the purchaser forfeits the 50% deposit and the Tegu will be put back up for sale.  The only exception to the 30 day policy is if a payment plan is negotiated and agreed upon prior to the initial deposit being paid.

The deposit will ONLY be refunded if we do not have the Tegus to fill your order, NOT for change of mind.

SHIPPING & PICK-UP

Within Canada - Shipping can be arranged either through Reptile Express or air cargo to a commercial airport near you.  Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer and are NOT included in the cost of the Tegu.  We ship Monday thru Wednesday only.  This is to ensure that the package will not be left in a warehouse over a weekend.  Shipments are also weather and temperature dependant.  If there is extreme weather conditions in either city (from or to), we will not ship the Tegus until the weather is safe to do so.

You can also arrange to pick-up your Tegu at our facility or we may be able to meet you somewhere.

GUARANTEES

Tegu Topia guarantees all Tegus to be healthy and established feeders before being delivered to the customer.

All purchases come with a live arrival guarantee. This guarantee is conditional upon the receiver being available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt from Reptile Express and/or the receiver picking up the package within one hour of its arrival at the airport.  If there is any issue with the Tegu when it is received, the receiver must notify us within 12 hours of the arrival time.  After 12 hours, the live arrival guarantee becomes null and void and we will assume your purchase has arrived safely.  If an animal is Dead On Arrival, through no fault of the receiver's, a replacement animal or refund of the animal's purchase price will be provided.   Returns or replacement shipping charges are at the customer's expense.

Privacy Statement: Any personal information gathered during the course of doing business, will be treated as confidential in strict compliance with the P.I.P.E.D.A..
